Meet Slinky he is believed to be around 9 yrs old, he is a sweet little thing that wants nothing more than a home to call his own. Slinky is in search of a home where there is no small children or at least ones that will respect his space and leave him alone while he is eating his meals. He does enjoy sitting with you curled up in a blanket catching up on a good show or to. He is also a good watch dog and will let you know when someone is in your yard.

He also has medical needs that need to be watched daily. With the proper and diet though and his daily medication he will be able to live out a happy life. Slinky has Cushings that is currently being controlled with a daily medicine. The cost is not bad at all for the month and he will need to have a blood test every year to make sure that his levels are still where they need to be at. For a little more information about Cushing in dogs you can read more about it at this link, http://www.petmd.com/dog/conditions/endocrine/c_dg_hyperadrenocorticism
