Elliot's Story...
Hi folks!!!! My name is Elliot! We (my sisters Eloise, Elle and I) were found out in the world all alone when we were only a couple of weeks old. We didn't have a mommy, so a nice lady brought us to St Francis where we could be bottle fed (which made us exceptionally sweet) and to grow big and strong. My foster mamma says I'm calm, quiet and gentle, with a BIG loving heart; but I’ve also got a bit of the goofiness in me too. My hobbies include playing with my foster siblings, eating, snuggling AND napping. I also LOOOOVE playing with toys (especially those fuzzy mice and plastic balls with bells inside) AND getting attention.....all in no particular order of course. Now I'm hoping to find a home to call my very own - maybe it will be with you!!! I hope you'll come to see me soon; give me a chance to capture your heart - 'cuz once you meet me, you're gonna wanna take me home, I promise! Love and kitty snuggles, Elliot

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elliot, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
