Picasa's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Picasa's Story...
Picasa was born about June 20 2011. What a transformation!! Picasa was totally feral when she came to SOSCAT. Now she is the sweetest thing on earth! We're not even sure if we can let her go. But, of course we will, if the right pet parent comes along. Picasa gives hugs and kisses to one of our volunteers and is just plain full of love. She has the most beautiful eyes and silky long fur. Our Picasa does seem to have food allergies, so she is eating special non-hypoallergenic food. It would be an added cost to her new pet parent. Come see Picasa, the sweetest cat on earth at our Oakland Adoption Center.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Picasa, a Oakland Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
