Harley's Story...
Hello, my name is Harley. I'm a young 13-year-old white Bichon Frise, and I weigh 14.4 pounds. My owners had some financial trouble and had to move to a place where they won't take dogs, so I was surrendered to Happy Tails to find a wonderful home. I am in excellent health, and although I am 13, you would never know it. I'm sweet, and I love walks. I'm friendly, take a lot of naps, enjoy being with people, but I get anxious when there is a thunder storm. No worries, I have a Thundershirt that you can put on me so I'm not too scared. My adoption fee is $100. PLEASE PICK ME TO BE YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Plain City Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in Plain City, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Plain City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plain City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plain City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plain City paves the way for another one to be saved.
