Mouska's Story...

Mouska is part of the "Mouse Kitten" Litter. Named after the 3 kittens from the Mickey Mouse club. They are an odd breed - mixed with Egyptian Mau, but super tiny for their age. They have just now made it to 2 pounds so we can get them spayed/neutered. They all have really big eyes and wide foreheads. The vet thinks they will remain very small and tiny throughout their life, but remain healthy as they are.

Mouska is a super sweet little love bug. As a matter of fact, they ALL are. The purring is SO SO loud and they kiss and cuddle for hours. They communicate with each other through a series of chirps and whistles and use their front paws to hold things and pick things up, and to also reach out and touch your face. Because they are so tiny, they would do best in a home with NO dogs. They are the size of dog toys and they really don't like dogs for that matter. They have been introduced to other cats and do become hissy, but maybe with time they could adjust.

If you are interested in meeting Mouska, or any of the mouse crew, please visit www.maricats.com and fill out the adoption application. Someone will get right back in touch with you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mouska, a Fort Worth Egyptian Mau kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Egyptian Mau for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Egyptian Mau kitten from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Egyptian Mau breeders who help with Egyptian Mau rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
