Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bernadette is a precious senior gal who weighs about 8lbs. We are not positive about her age, but she is probably around 10 years old. Prior to her vet appointment, we thought she acted like an older dog…but the reason is because she had BAD teeth (infections in her mouth) AND an infected uterus. This poor girl was riddled with infection throughout her body. She has since had a dental with 7 extractions and has been spayed and the infected uterus has been removed. She is now acting like a much younger dog! Bernie likes to make “nests” with the blankets on the bed. She likes to snuggle tightly next to her person and the only time she barks is when it is meal time because she wants her food NOW. Regarding housetraining, she is a work in progress; however, she is a quick learner. She will use a potty pad well. She is good with other dogs and cats. She is so small that we would prefer to place her in a home without young children. She is not fond of being in the car. She will travel, but whines if she cannot be on someone’s lap. Bernie is a great little girl and she has lots of life and love to give. She has one ear that goes up and one ear that goes down! She is fully vaccinated including rabies and is microchipped. Her adoption donation is $150.00. If you are interested in knowing more about Bernie, then please email us for an application : stmartinsanimalrescue@hotmail.com
