Low maintenance and ready to join your family. George is good looking and always a big favorite at events, but no good matches for a loving home yet that have materialized! He is a little willful on the leash but listens and wants to please and could likely be taught tricks and commands. His BFF is a Chihuahua (Lil Bit) and we tease George and say he is "Lil Bit's dog" and they are kenneled together and were together in a great foster home for a few months with 3 other large dogs and got along well.. Little Bit and George likely connected on the streets as dumped off strays and survived by looking out for each other. George would love to be adopted with Lil Bit and vice versa but it is not a deal breaker. He does get along with some large dogs but he has a little bit of alpha-dog tendencies with other males and even some large females; every one except Lil Bit (go figure). George is an all around good guy and will be a great family dog or even a dog for an older or semi-retired couple or single person as he demand nothing and appreciates everything. Maybe knock over toddlers but great with gentle kids. LOVES little girls and boys. He is protective and a good guardian of his people and home without being too assertive. Sweetie pie.
