Teddy is an active, 2 year old male Shih Tzu mix who weighs about 12 pounds. He has a very curious, playful nature and is interested in new sights and sounds. He enjoys playing with his foster dog sister and is curious about the foster cat, but is learning to ignore her like the other dogs do! Teddy was previously an only dog and was used to eating leisurely all day. But now that he is sharing a home with two foster sibling dogs, he is learning to eat faster! Teddy is well house trained, and he goes to the door when he wants to go out. He walks well on a leash and gets along great with his foster siblings. Because he enjoys the company of his people,Teddy would do best in a home where his new family is home at least part of the day. He is outgoing and friendly to adults who visit the foster home. He seems to prefer women, but is not afraid of men. He loves his foster dad.
Teddy is in excellent health, is neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped and on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. His adoption fee is $370.00 plus $26.92 for a total of $396.92. Teddy’s foster home parents prefer that his adopters live within one hour of the Twin Cities and hope that they will attend the annual Shih Tzu Reunion held every September.
