Thor's Story...
Thor is a Beagle/Bassett mix looking for a family to call his own. He is a true gentleman, a little shy but warms up quickly. He loves to play and give the most gentle kisses. He sleeps in his crate all night and is doing very well at potty training. Thor is 12 weeks old and about 8 pounds. He loves to run and stretch his little legs, so a fenced in yard would be great!

Thor is a cuddle bug, he will lay his head in your lap and take a nap. He loves to be held at this age. He gets along great with other dogs and cats. He knows what "NO" means and is working on his sit command. He is just as handsome as they come!!

He is being fostered in Huntsville, Alabama. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative. Email infor@FORrescue.net or apply directly at http://www.FORrescue.net/dog-application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thor, a Chattanooga Beagle/Basset Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Basset Hound for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Beagle/Basset Hound puppy from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Basset Hound breeders who help with Beagle/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
