If you love Boxers, you’re going to love Sadie, our 2 year-old Boxer mix, who is very pretty in pink! Sadie has the typical exuberant, silly, happy-go-lucky disposition that Boxers are known for. She came to us from an overcrowded rural county dog shelter so we have no history on her previous life. Sadie gets along great with other dogs but may be too energetic and lively for a home with cats. She’s very athletic and has been able to climb a four-foot fence in her foster home so a tall privacy fence would probably be best for her. She seems to form attachments to new people quickly and has only climbed the fence to be closer to her foster mom. Sadie is very eager to please so would do well in an obedience class with her new family to channel all that Boxer energy in a positive direction. She would do well walking with an Easy Walk Harness as she gets very excited on her walks and tends to pull very enthusiastically. Sadie has excellent crate manners and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. She weighs about 43 pounds and her adoption fee is $200. Sadie’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested in Sadie. An approved application is required before we set up meets with any of our dogs. All of our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. We also have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
