My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello everyone!! My name is Makita......I am a Beagle/Basset mix and my markings are fabulous!! I'm 12 weeks old and weigh 9 pounds. My Foster Mom tells me that I am sweet, gentle and very loving. I love toys, chew bones and treats....oh goodness, did someone say "treats"!!

Potty training is going very well. I have not mastered it yet but it won't take me long. I sleep in my crate all night and my Foster Mom says that I have this thing called "sit" down pretty good, and you know what? Yep, I get a "treat" when I do it!!

I am outgoing, get along with other dogs and cats, and love to explore in the back yard. A fence would be very good for me and keep me safe. I'm not real crazy about this leash thing, but hey, if treats are involved....count me in!

Do you have any treats that you would share with me? I am looking for my forever home. Would you? Could you? Be my family?
