My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Holly and I am in need of a forever home! I found myself as a homeless stray late in life. The vet thinks I am about 13 years old. I was in pretty bad shape when I was found but SDHH has fixed me up! I had a large tumor removed, a much needed dental surgery to extract 10 rotten teeth and I was treated for Lyme's disease! I am finally feeling so much better!

I am a sweet, adorable, mild mannered Shih Tzu mix. I am house trained and I walk very well on a leash. I also love to go for rides in the car! I am very quiet, I only bark for a little bit when you leave the house. I would prefer a home without children because I am hard of hearing and I can startle easily with quick movements. I also have some arthritis in my hips, so I need to be handled gently.

I tolerate other dogs but mostly keep to myself. I would most love a home of my own or with one other canine companion. Holly loves to sleep and snuggle with her foster parents and be by their side during the day! She would make a great companion for anyone looking for some quiet companionship :)
