My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello world! My name is Blondie and I am a blond/orange tabby girl. I love to play, but if my family is working, I like to lie down in a basket next to them and relax. I am not (my foster mom says for now) a lap cat, but I don't mind being picked up and held. I like to help around the kitchen, especially with the dishwasher, or with folding laundry. My foster mom said that I am sweet, cute and almost just perfect (she doesn't think that me helping with dishes is a good idea :/) I am ok with the other feline at my foster home, but I don't like to bother him too much, unless he wants to play 😊. I like kids, watching TV and trying to play on the phone: if one of the humans in my foster family is on the floor with their phone/tablet, I try to use my paw the same way they use their fingers. My foster mom says it’s hilarious to watch. I also purr louder then I meow, and I’ve been told that my meow sounds like a squirrel or seagull, just very quiet. I will be honest with you that because I am young I need someone who will play with me. Please let Adopt-A-Pet know if you think I would make a great addition to your family – I know I will!

Behaviorally and socially, it is best to adopt young kittens in pairs, or into a home with a playful cat so they can play and snuggle while you're not home. Right now, Blondie seems to be the exception. Blondie’s foster mom says she is very independent and does not initiate play with their resident cat, so she thinks she will be fine as a solo cat. If you already have a cat in your home, or want to adopt a second cat, Blondie may bond with that cat…we just never know.

If you are interested in adopting Blondie as a single kitten, AND you’re home most of the day, AND able to spend interactive time with her, we will consider adopting her out as a single kitten. Each foster home knows the kitten’s personalities best, and we follow their recommendations for single placements.

Blondie’s estimated date of birth is 8/04/15 and her adoption fee of $135 includes her vet exam, FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, FIV & Feline Leukemia testing (neg), routine deworming, flea control, microchip and spay.
