My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jaeger appears to be a Belgian Malinois or possibly Malinois/German Shepherd cross.  He is young (under a year old), and strikingly handsome.

Like any adolescent Mal, he brings intense enthusiasm to everything he does, whether its training, playing, or snuggling.  He's very smart, biddable, and eager to please.  He's also a world-class lap dog who loves to cuddle.

He gets along with all the dogs and cats in his foster home.  He especially loves being able to wrestle and rough-house with other good-natured dogs his size.  He plays fetch, and he loves toys.  He is house-trained and crate-trained.

We think Jaeger is the sort of dog with the potential to excel in advanced obedience training (agility, AKC obedience competitions,  Schutzhund/IPO).   He needs a home that appreciates the stellar potential this dog has and can put the time in to develop that potential.

Jaeger recently tested positive for heartworms but has started slow-kill treatment.
