Pepper's Story...
Hey ya'll, the name is Pepper and I'm a sweet, lovable, and calm 4 month old hound mix that loves to sniff around and relax. I am very low key and calm, but I like to always be around my friends (the human ones and the dog ones!). I am very smart and a quick learner, so you can be sure that you'll be able to teach me how to do what I'm supposed to and listen well.

I love dogs and kids, but I haven't really been around cats, though I'm sure willing to try it out. I'm microchipped and up to date on all my shots. I am in good health and I just can't wait to be in my forever home where I can love my family and they can love me right back!

I am currently in Hancock County, Mississippi, but the good folks at Animal Rescue Front will bring me up north to you and the trip is included in the adoption fee. If you are interested in taking me into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http://animalrescuefront.org/forms/

Hope to meet ya soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepper, a Groton Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Groton, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
