Sweet Pea's Story...

Sweet Pea is a darling tiny girl at about 3 pounds. She is about 2.5-3 years old and has lost her owner. She is now in a private home and we can make arrangements for you to meet her. As Sweet Pea is tiny, she would do best in a home with older children (teens), adults, and other small animals. Having a yard is terrific but she should not be left unattended outside. Adoption Fee is 350.00.

Dogs are vaccinated, microchipped  and spayed/neutered before adoption.
The necessary first step to inquire about any dog, is to complete the NCPR Adoption Interest Form.Once we receive the NCPR Adoption Interest Form , a volunteer will contact you promptly. We need your information to match you with the perfect companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweet Pea, a Walnut Creek Toy Poodle/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Toy Poodle/Chihuahua for sale in Walnut Creek, or seeking a Toy Poodle/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Walnut Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walnut Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walnut Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Toy Poodle/Chihuahua breeders who help with Toy Poodle/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walnut Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
