'Your final stop for your furever friend!'
Meet Miss Fanci Pants! Fanci was surrendered to a kill shelter at about 5 months old. Since this time, she has bounced around from shelter, to foster home, to boarding, now back to a shelter. She was pulled from the kill shelter at 5 months, and lived in a foster home for a few months. When her foster could no longer keep her, she moved to boarding. The rescue who pulled her was foster based, and there were no fosters available at the time. With so much energy and love for playing in the yard, living in boarding really made her become depressed. She lost weight and was not happy. A local trainer spent a LOT of time with Fanci while she was here, and Fanci completed basic obedience training, and some! About a year after her rescue, a space became available at a low kill shelter, and Fanci got to move! She's still here. She is almost 2 years old, heartworm negative, obedience trained, loves kids and cats. Oh, and Fanci LOVES, LOVES her toy balls! She isn't too interested in playing with other dogs because she is obsessed with playing ball and giving her humans so much attention. She LOVES going for car rides, trips to the pet store, or just playing in the yard for HOURS. And swimming and four wheeling on the creek? Yes please!! She's a very observant little girl, who listens and is keen on everything around her. She was even enrolled in a training program for a few months to become an officer assisting K-9! This is one smart cookie! We aren't quite positive what breeds make up this beautiful girl, but we know she's one of a kind. She's just wondering why she hasn't found her home yet. We'd love to see her get a home and yard of her own, with humans who can throw the ball with her ALL day! Come meet Fanci, and you won't be disappointed :)
We require that ALL current household pets be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and up to date on heartworm prevention. We will require confirmation from your veterinarian. If renting, we must have landlord approval. A fence is not a requirement for ALL of our dogs. Fences are a case-by-case determination.
