Lucille (Spayed)'s Story...
"Lucille" is a gorgeous one-year old female Bluetick Coonhound who was surrendered by her owner because his work schedule didn't allow him to spend the quality time with "Lucille" that she deserved. This lovely young lady has a dark blue short smooth coat which is mottled with patches of black, tan markings on her long legs, a long tail, and a classic Bluetick face with incredible long floppy ears. "Lucille" has a friendly, affectionate personality and loved attention while she had her glamour photos taken on a rainy Fall afternoon. She walks gently on a leash and was well-behaved with good manners. "Lucille" currently weighs 50 lbs., and she could easily gain a few pounds to fill out her slim girlish figure. "Lucille" was spayed on October 30, 2015 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucille (Spayed), a Marietta Bluetick Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bluetick Coonhound for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Bluetick Coonhound dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bluetick Coonhound breeders who help with Bluetick Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
