Trixie was doing great in a household with her mom, pop and dog brother. She was a great house mate, was well-behaved and enjoyed playing with her canine companion. But once the human babies started arriving Trixie became sad that SHE wasn't the family's baby anymore. Things didn't sour, but Trixie became less tolerant of her canine brother and would growl and snarl at him out of the blue. It was obviously her way of venting frustration from the change in the family's dynamic. Before the human babies arrived life had been great, according to Trixie.

The family can't send their new sons away and are sorry Trixie can no longer be their "baby" but they have their hands full caring for their expanding family! They felt it would be best for Trixie to be in a home where she's not competing for attention anymore.

Trixie is a smart and healthy 4-year old gal. She will do great in any active home. She's fine around kids but older kids might be a best fit for her since she seems afraid of babies and toddlers (go figure!) She gets along with some other dogs so a meet and greet would be in order to see how things go first but the best bet would probably be for her to be an only dog. She's house trained and knows basic obedience commands too!
