Cloudy's Story...
Meet Cloudy. He is a 1 year old sweetie! Cloudy joined AOH through the Willmar Spay / Neuter Release program (notice the clipped left ear) He was trapped with a colony of Feral cats. Staff found out he was just about as far from feral as a kitty can get. He loves people! He also has a special affinity for dogs. He gets along well with other cats. Honestly, he hasn't met anyone he doesn't love! He is available for adoption at Chuck and Dons in Elk River. This loving man is neutered, FIV negative, up to date on his rabies and ready to steal your heart this holiday season.

If you are interested in adopting this animal, please go to to our website at http://www.aohrescue.org and complete an adoption application or go directly to the store and a sales associate will assist you with the adoption.

Angel of Hope Animal Rescue also has other cats and kittens available at Petco Fridley, Petsmart Coon Rapids, Petsmart Maple Grove, Petsmart Monticello, Chuck & Don's Coon Rapids and Chuck & Don's Elk River.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cloudy, a Anoka Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Anoka, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Anoka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Anoka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Anoka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Anoka paves the way for another one to be saved.
