Squirrel is a happy, playful, full-of-life, one year old dog!  If you're looking for a snuggler, then look no further because Squirrel is the queen of cuddling!  She loves to curl up with anyone, be it canine or human!  Squirrel loves to play, loves people, loves toys and just loves life!  She can be a little standoffish with new dogs initially but once she has made friends, she can't get enough playtime with her buddies!  Squirrel is very smart and a fast learner.  She is crate and house trained and knows behaviors like sit, down, focus and touch. This little nugget will quickly wiggle her way right into your heart.  Come meet Squirrel and see what all the fuss is about!

About Our Rescue Group...

The Objective of Animal Action Rescue shall be to provide charitable and educational services in the form of:

• Quality shelter and care of unwanted, neglected and/or abused animals until proper, permanent homes can be found and

• Advice to adopters about breed characteristics, proper care, health issues, and training and behavior.

Animal Action Rescue shall not be operated for profit and no part of any profits or remainder or residue from dues or donations to the corporation shall inure to the benefit of any Director or member or individual. All donations go to feeding, sheltering, and providing quality medical care for the animals.

The purpose of Animal Action Rescue is to rescue as many unwanted animals as we possibly can, assess their placeability and to place them into good permanent homes making the best possible match; to provide care and training information for each animal we place. It is our policy that animals will not be euthanized due to lack of homes. Instead, we will keep the animal in our program as long as we deem necessary to find a suitable home.

Animal Action Rescue is a non breed specific rescue group.

AAR is 501 (c) (3) non profit.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Adoptions are held every Sunday at the Petsmart on Ponce de Leon Ave. in Midtown. Not all animals are brought to adoptions. If you are interested in a particular pet, please email us and we will make arrangements to bring that pet or arrange a meeting.

Our animals are in various foster homes, doggy daycare facilites, vet' offices, and rescue shelters.

Our Adoption Process...

An application, references and a home check are required. An adoption fee is also required This includes all shots, bordatella, rabies, deworming, microchip and spay/neuter as well as any other medical attention requred to deem the animal healthy.
