Pixie - ADOPTED!'s Story...
Little Pixie is about 14 weeks old and cute is the cutest little ball of fluff! Her mom and litter were living in the parking lot of a pet food factory when we rescued them. Their mom is feral, but the kittens have been very well socialized and are very loving. Summer adoption special -- adopt 2 kittens for the price of one! Adopting 2 kittens together helps them to adjust to their new home better, plus they have each other to play with and keep each other company while you are away from home. A multi-cat home is less likely to have problems with destruction, as the cats will play with each other instead of your furniture, drapes, etc. It is a win-win situation for the cats and you! Kittens have been spayed, wormed, flea treated, vaccinated (3-way combo), and their mom has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV.For more information or to learn how you can adopt, please contact Susan at 234-517-4204.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pixie - ADOPTED!, a Lisbon Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Lisbon, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Lisbon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lisbon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lisbon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lisbon paves the way for another one to be saved.
