Cameron - ADOPTED!'s Story...
As of 9/17/11, Cameron is about 8 weeks old. She is a short hair, black and white tuxedo female, She is very playful! Her adorable antics keep her caretakers in stitches! Cameron and her siblings, Drew and Justin, make the cutest chirping noises when they are playing. The kittens will be fixed as soon as they reach 2 pounds. Their mother tested negative for feline leukemia and aids. They have been wormed and flea treated and received distemper shot. The rabies shot will be the responsibility of the new owner if adopted before 16 weeks of age. Adoption fee is $25 if adopting only one kitten, or $15 each of adopting 2 kittens together. Adopting 2 kittens together helps them to adjust to their new home better, plus they have each other to play with and keep each other company while you are away from home. A multi-cat home is less likely to have problems with destruction, as the cats will play with each other instead of your furniture, drapes, etc. It is a win-win situation for the cats and you! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cameron - ADOPTED!, a Lisbon Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lisbon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Lisbon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lisbon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lisbon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lisbon paves the way for another one to be saved.
