My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lilly is fostered in Shiloh IL 62221, through United Yorkie Rescue. To find out more about Lilly contact her foster mamma: resqdogs2@yahoo.com Lilly's a 4 year old, 5 lb. girl who came to United Yorkie Rescue in October 2015 gaining her freedom after being a puppy mill momma. Lilly has been spayed, is up to date on her shots, heart worm negative, has had a dental and otherwise a very healthy girl. She was diagnosed with dry eye in her left eye, which requires eye gel drop treatments throughout the day, as her eye don't produce any tears, which is very uncomfortable. The drops aren't expensive, which is good as she'll need them for the rest of her life to keep her eye healthy, having someone home to give Lilly her drops will be important. Lilly's foster mamma has been working to add a little to her small frame as she should weigh a little over 5lbs. She absolutely loves being held & and isl learning life outside a cage, so will need someone with patience, understanding and desire to help her learn and grow. Lilly doesn't walk on a leash yet and has potty accidents when foster mamma is at work, but not when she's home as she's working with Lilly on these things. Lilly still walks in circles in her kennel, a habit formed from living in a small cage at the mill. With time and lots of love this should get less frequent as she settles in and learns what being a dog is about. She sleeps great on the bed, with no accidents. Lilly is a sweet girl that would be a wonderful companion. Due to her size, children are would not be suitable in her home environment. To find out more about Lilly contact her foster mamma or United Yorkie: http://www.unitedyorkierescue.org or email: info@uyr.us
