Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This AWESOME kitten just arrived on Halloween from an over-burdened animal shelter (where there are far more abandoned animals than homes) and he settled into his foster home in about two minutes. If you want the most outgoing, friendly, fun cat on the block, this is it. He cannot envision a world he is not the center of. He loves all people and is curious, playful and into everything. Parker is great with other cats and would do great with his adoptable buddy Patrick, in an existing cat household or as your one and only. Parker is estimated at 5-6 months old and is ready to start his new life. He is FIV/Felk negative and fully vetted. We are honored to have saved this little ginger boy and think anyone would be super lucky to have him as their new feline best friend forever.
If you think you can give this sweet, sweet guy a lifetime of love and care (keep in mind indoor cats routinely live into their 20s), kindly fill out our required application at www.animalheartline.org and/or contact Parker's Foster Mom, Carolyn, at schroeder0010@comcast.net or (630) 917-0010.
We are a very small rescue comprised of all volunteers (with jobs and families), and home checks are required for all adoptions. Accordingly, local adoptions only please - within 50-60 miles of the Chicago area and its suburbs. Parker is being fostered in the Western suburb of Geneva.
Unlike our sister shelters, each cat at Animal Heartline is fostered in our homes, so you have a true idea of what they will be like in yours. Aldo, when you adopt from Animal Heartline, you save three lives, the animal you adopt, the spot that opens in its foster home; and the spot that opens in the relinquishing shelter. So - THANK YOU - we can all work together to end the crises of abandoned animals.
