Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ryder who is new to HFE found by one of our volunteers on October 12, 2015, with his sister Storm, tied to a fence at a home in Detroit severely malnourished. We believe he’s a lab mix. It’s unknown if he’s good with kids but he’s a puppy so it would be hard for him not to be. He is very good with other dogs. He enjoys running around the yard and sitting next to the big dogs or right next to you. At this time it’s unknown if he’s good with cats.
Currently we’re working on his potty training and crate training. He’s not a fan of going in the crate but he doesn’t make a big fuss when he’s in there. Sometimes he barks when he has to potty. He enjoys listening to the Bach station on Pandora when he takes his naps and at bedtime. Ryder is a very active and yet chill dog. He is very curious and is not a fan of vacuums. He can’t climb down stairs yet but he stares at them with the determination that one day he will master them. His favorite toys are kong bones and the big dogs toys. He tries to carry the big bones even if they’re bigger than him. If he can’t carry them in his mouth, he’ll drag them across the room. He enjoys cuddle too. He would prefer to nap in a lap. He’s working on his commands already and comes running when you call his name.
