My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shasta is quite possibly the most loving princess that we have ever known, she loves to give kisses, cuddle with you, and will even give you a big hug! Shasta has a love of life, she enjoys playing in the snow, hiking, going for car rides, and she is all around the most amazing dog! Shasta is wonderful with children, they are one of her favorite things in life, next to a good game of tug-of-war. Ever the pleasing princess, Shasta will sit and shake for you, and she loves to go for long walks and enjoy all the sights and smells. While unique in coloring she is not your typical Siberian Husky, as she is very well behaved and isn't high energy.
We cannot understand why Shasta has had very little interest, to us, she is the ultimate Princess, and we all love her so much, she deserves her happy ending as well. Shasta is now an almost 2 years old Siberian Husky, piebald in coloring, she is housebroken, loves to give kisses to her human friends, and gets along with other dogs and doesn't mind cats. Shasta has been spayed, is heartworm negative, she is current on her shots, including rabies and Bordetella. She has been wormed, microchipped, and has been started on monthly flea and heartworm prevention. Shasta does enjoying a good run, even if adopted to a home with a secure fenced in yard, she will require being tethered inside the fence!
Shasta was only 15 months old when we rescued her in August of 2015, after we received a call from a humane society. She had been surrendered the day before by her owners for killing chickens, and they did not want her any longer. What they did not tell the shelter, was that she was pregnant. They were very surprised when they walked in that morning, and Shasta had given birth to 4 healthy babies. All of Shasta’s babies have been adopted, and our sweet Princess is waiting for her new Kingdom.

Shasta's adoption donation is $150.00
