Camille's Story...
I’m a sweet little girl named Camille, and here’s my deal. I’m tender, affectionate, cute-as-can-be, and homeless. I love to be held; goodness, I just love a good lap to sit in. I’m just lacking a bit in the confidence department…which I’m sure you can help me with. I’d love another dog to play with, cats to snuggle with, and respectful children to dote on me. I just need a warm lap, a soft bed, and a patient person to show me what a warm and loving place the world can be. A training class or two wouldn’t hurt either, cuz hey, nobody’s perfect! Well, I might be perfect if you put in some effort! 4½ years old-10lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes microchip & registration, spay, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Camille, a Portland Schipperke/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schipperke/Chihuahua for sale in Portland, or seeking a Schipperke/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schipperke/Chihuahua breeders who help with Schipperke/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
