My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marlo is a happy 3 year old Boxer mix. He lived his entire life with the same family. Marlo's mom had to move into a home that didn't allow dogs. He's a friendly boy that likes kids of all ages but being big and strong it's best if kids in the family were a little older. Marlo likes tug ropes and bones, but is afraid of the broom. He's an active boy and also like to cuddle in bed at night. Marlo lived with other dogs but would guard his food and sometimes played too rough. Occasionally they would fight. The scars on his legs are from the smaller dogs biting him. It's probably best if Marlo is an only pet. It's not known if he likes cats. Marlo is a smart fellow that is house trained and has manners in the home. Make room in your heart and home and adopt sweet Marlo. Marlo was recently adopted and returned. A child in the family was allergic to him. They said he was a good dog the short time they had him.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
