My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Onya. She's a super sweet 4 year old Beagle mix that was surrendered to Friendship because her owner passed away. She lived briefly with a cat and the cat crawled in the crate with her and she was fine with it. Onya also lived with young kids and although they made her nervous when they got loud, she loved it when they loved on her and played. She is also dog friendly. Onya does great with her house-training and has manners. She plays fetch, likes to tease you with her toys and hides dirty laundry! She gets nervous during car rides and sometimes gets car-sick. She uses her crate for comfort and will go in it on her own when she is nervous or tired. If you're looking for a perfect family pet, Onya comes pretty close.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
