My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Drummer is a handsome boy, who will be 4 in January. He just retired from racing and is ready for couch living that he has heard about. He seems to do fine with cats and small dogs.

Hello!! I'm Drummer. I'm going to be five years old in January, and I just finished my racing career. These last couple weeks have been quite an adventure. First, I lived with some other greyhounds at a ranch while we were waiting for our no-puppies surgeries. The other dogs seems nice, especially the girls, but I wasn't allowed to play with them. Last week, I went to visit my doctor. He seemed nice too, but when I woke up, my boy parts were gone. What's up with that?!

The next day I moved into my first foster home. I was SO excited. Even though I'm a very calm, even-tempered, mature hound, I couldn't WAIT to look around the house and yard, and sniff everything. Everything was SO interesting. I even watched TV and went for my first walk. It was AWESOME! The next day, I moved into my long term foster home. I'm living with four small, furry animals that dart around the house. My foster mom says they're cats and I need to be nice to them. I understand the next step in a "forever home." My foster mom says I already have a family waiting for me, as long as I'm nice to her cats. Yippee! I'm going to try extra hard to be a good boy.
