My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Natasha could be that dream come true pup for active retirees who love spending their time with a kind and loyal puppy who is the most devoted companion around. Or Natasha would be perfect for a family with kids who have the skills to be gentle and loving with a puppy while helping to teach them about boundaries using kindness. There's no question that Natasha would enjoy these gentle kids who would love the fun that a sweet little dog brings to a family. Natasha...at just 6 months old and 14 lbs (anticipated to be just about 20 - 22 lbs when full grown) is such a perfect size for hiking and playing..and fun! She loves playing and is entertaining in her antics, young energy and the love she wants to show to everyone who is kind to her.

Natasha's sad story is all too common in her extremely close call to being euthanized in a scary Texas shelter....but who could ignore Natasha's beautiful face with the sweet eyes and beautiful, cotton-soft coat? Natasha has an adorable manner and desire to bond with anyone who gives her a bit of time to get over initial shyness. She will then be a loyal and devoted best friend and before you know it she's gently loving you with a wag and a kiss.

The awesome Texas rescuers recognized all of this and knew that there was a home out there that would love, respect and make this little pup a permanent member of their family.

Natasha appears to be a non-shedding girl (although it's a bit difficult to tell for certain with such a young pup) and will therefore require periodic grooming and great nutrition to keep her stunning coat healthy and matt-free.

Natasha is so pleasant and portable that she can be a part of any adventure....it can be a fun hike, a visit with dog-loving friends, a car ride on vacation or just an afternoon spending time together plopped down on the couch - all of this would speak to Natasha's nature. We aren't open to a home where everyone spends their days working long full-time outside of the home....we'd like Natasha to get more time and attention than is possible with that lifestyle.

Natasha will be arriving on transport in Boulder on 11/6/15. Applications are currently being accepted and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. If interested in this sweet, fun-loving and devoted companion, please fill out and return to farfelsapps@gmail.com.
