Candy's Story...
Hello! I'm Candy, and when you meet me, I think you'll say, "I want Candy!" Tee hee! I'm a pretty Terrier mix gal, born in October, 2008.

I'm a sweet gal who adores human attention. I get along well with dogs, cats, and kids. Housetrained? Why, yes, I am! When we meet, you may note that I'm feeling just a bit shy right now. The shelter is a new experience for me, as I'm sure you can understand! I know we'll warm up to one another just fine, though.

Finding my forever home will be my dream come true, but please give me time to adjust to my new routine. Basic doggy training may be helpful, too. I'd love for us to continue our higher education together!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Candy, a Denver Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Denver, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
