Rusty is a 1 yr old Min Pin/Doxie mix weighing about 15lbs. He spent much of his life as a puppy, in the shelter. He has since learned the meaning of life as a cherished member of the family!! He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, but is timid of children. Rusty will do best with no young children (under age 7). He is in a foster home with cats and doing ok there. Rusty is neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. Rusty will need an adopter who is patient and will allow him time to warm up, as he is timid in new situations. Rusty is also housebroken and crate trained! He has so much life to live and would like to find a perfect family to show him lots of unconditional love! Rusty does not do well with cats.
APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT REQUIRED. ADOPTION FEE $250
BLUEGRASS SENIOR DOG RESCUE ONLY FOSTERS/ADOPTS DOGS THAT ARE FULLY VACCINATED INCLUDING RABIES AND BORDATELLA AND ARE SPAYED/NEUTERED. BEGINNING 2015 ALL ANIMALS ARE MICROCHIPPED AND THE RESCUE PAYS THE REGISTRATION FEE. APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT REQUIRED.
Bluegrass Senior Dog Rescue recruits individuals to foster our dogs on a temporary or long term basis. The rescue pays for all of the dog’s veterinary care and monthly preventatives for the dog while in foster care.
NOTE-Fosters must live within 100 mile radius of Georgetown KY.
