Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wonderful Woodrow is a young, 2 year old, pure bred Bloodhound that just makes you smile when you see his engaging face and look into his dreamy, droopy eyes. This hunka burnin’ love only weighs 85 lbs due to whatever circumstances that led to his ending up in a high kill shelter in TN. You can see that he certainly needs to gain weight as we were told he was losing it rapidly while in the shelter where they couldn’t feed him nearly the amount he needed. He should weigh 110. Woodrow is a rich deep red color with darker ears and the typical Hound dog droopy eyes that always locks you in for that long term love and friendship. You just can’t walk away from a dog like Woodrow. Our large and gentle giant has a wonderful temperament with a laid back vibe that is contagious. He is great with other dogs and when he is in the fenced yard he runs like he's in slow motion with all that squeezable loose skin flapping along with him. His legs look like they are floating on air and those saggy eyes give him that clumsy “loafer” look. This boy is a jewel for sure. He would be great with any age family member from a baby to grandparents. He rides well in the car and is leash trained, but pulls hard as his nose is always on the hunt. Yes he does have the deep Hound voice and you must be prepared to hear that voice for many years to come. It will be music to your ears and hopefully to that of your neighbors as well.
