Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little Lucy is definitely a survivor! This tiny tidbit was the runt of her litter, just a fraction of the size of her siblings, and barely holding onto life, when she was first placed in foster care. Lucy's siblings were all adopted weeks ago, and now she too is strong enough to leave the nest. Lucy is about 10 weeks old and just recently tipped the scales at barely 5 pounds, which isn't much at her age! However, Lucy has definitely come a long way after more than a month of careful foster care, and you can bet this little sweetie is well socialized too, as a result of all the human attention she received so early in life. Now this cute and cuddly waif is ready to bond with a loving, forever owner who can give her a little extra TLC, along with the exercise and training that all puppies need, in order to grow up happy and healthy. So, if you have room in your heart and your home for this darling and very deserving pup, please contact pdcarson@cox.net. All dogs adopted through Friends of the Animals are current on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
