found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Benny was rescued by a good Samaritan who saw a very tangled, matted
dirty mess of hair and took him in for safety but was unable to
financially provide the care and treatment the dog needed. The first
thing Benny needed was a bath, a shave to the skin and removal of
multiple ticks. What emerged is a wonderful dog with a cute over bite,
a curly tail and in between a sweet, friendly, affectionate furry little
dog. He is a bit shy initially which is probably the result of being
uncared for and abandoned but he warms up quickly and will keep his
human friend in sight most of the time. He seeks attention and would
love a friendly lap. He is crate trained and appears to be house
trained. Goes to the door when he wants out but comes readily when
called. His coat is starting to grow back , he does not shed so would
require periodic grooming to avoid the tangles and a weekly brushing
would also help. Benny gets along with other dogs both big and small
and a furry playmate would be a plus.
Children under 5 may not be a good match.
He has no bad habits such a digging, barking or chewing, and has
shown no aggressive behavior. Additional pluses would be a yard to run,
and a daily walk or two. He would not do well if left alone for an
extended period of time. Benny is available to meet and greet a
potential new family at a mutually convenient day and time any where
within the extended San Antonio area.
