Chance's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Chance's Story...
Chance is probably one year plus. He appears to be a mix of black Lab and German Shepherd and weighs 55 lbs now. When he arrived, he was skin and bones, but has quickly put weight on now and has filled out nicely and his coat is much improved. Chance is still a silly pup at heart and loves his squeaky toys and if you throw tennis balls for him, you'll soon be laughing at his enthusiastic outlook on life. Watch his video and see what a happy-go-lucky clown he is, especially in the snow. He charmed the ladies at the vet clinic and is a sweet boy. Chance does not get along with cats!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chance, a Glenwood Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Glenwood, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Glenwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glenwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glenwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glenwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
