Peanut's Story...
Hi my name is Peanut! I was found under a car with my 9 other siblings this summer and thankfully my foster mom got us out of there. She says I am the sweetest and the most fun loving kitten you will meet. I love being around people and I love to play. Give me all the toys, I love them all! I like to greet people by rubbing on their legs or giving them a soft head butt. I like being held and will give you kisses by rubbing my face all over yours. My foster mom says I do a "happy dance" with my two front paws by kneading while I'm standing. I have a never ending purr because I am always happy! I would be really happy to go home with a friend that loves to play as much as I do.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
