My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This wonderful little girl is Mittens....she's young too......she came to us as an abandoned cat and .I would say a little over a year old. Naturally was not spayed. So we tested her, spayed her, wormed her and gave her all of her shots and treated her for fleas! Whew! She's medically complete now. She is also a wonderful, wonderful cat! Her BFF is Lucky and they are two peas in a pod as far disposition, personality and just great perfect cats...Neither has a mean bone in their bodies and both love, and I do mean love, to be petted and get attention!! For the time being, they are at East Bay Veterinary Care in Barrington, so, if you're in the neighborhood, stop in and meet them. It is an application process....but Mittens and Lucky are just PERFECT, PERFECT CATS!!

You may obtain an online application by logging on to CatAdoptionRI.org or by emailing catadoptionteam@aol.com. We are also at the Providence Petco on Sunday, with cats and kittens, ffrom 10 am to 3 pm. We will not be there on holidays....All of the cats and kittens are placed with the Rhode Island State mandated proof of spay or neuter. In order to take your new cat or kitten home with you, there must be an approved application prior to any placement. Application approval is usually within 24-48 hours. We, at CATS, are very proud of all of the cats and kittens that we help facilitate finding new forever homes, and work very hard to make sure they are happy, healthy and well socialized. All of the cats and kittens are fed only a high end cat food. You may call East Bay Veterinary Care at 286 Maple Avenue, in Barrington, RI and ask for Rita Monday thru Friday. The phone number is 401-247-1111 or you may call my cell phone at 401-440-9667. Hard copy medical records accompany each cat and kitten on adoption day as each cat or kitten is completely vetted prior to their placed. The policy is that all of our cats and kittens will be placed spayed or neutered, tested for feline aids/leukemia, and have all age appropriate shots. There will not be any placement of any cat or kitten that has not been spayed or neutered first. There will be no exceptions. This means that there is less out of pocket costs for people who adopt a cat or kitten from us and you will be in 100% COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPAY/NEUTER LAW TOO, which is so important to help combat the pet overpopulation crisis.
