Chase's Story...
Hey there new pals, my name is Chase, I'm 2 years old, and I am currently in a foster home in New England. I am getting neutered and getting my heartworm disease treated while my foster family cares for me and a forever family adopts me!
My favorite activity - running around chasing my pals and romping around! I love to play with kids and other pups, haven't been around cats much, but I'm willing to try it out. I'm very athletic, so I need to be with a family that can play with me and help me get out my energy. I promise that I'll give you lots of snuggles and love after we finish playing though because I'm a big sweetheart!

I am very intelligent, even though I'm goofy, so I can learn whatever you need me to do very quickly. I'm already potty trained and up to date on shots. I am heartworm positive and will begin treatment soon in my foster home. Please don't let that deter you from adopting me I'll live a happy and healthy life after treatment!

I am in a foster home in New England and you would be able to meet me. If you are interested in taking me into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http://animalrescuefront.org/forms/

I hope I get to meet you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chase, a Groton Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Groton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
