Murphy is excellent with other dogs, big and small. He LOVES them and MUST be in a home with at least one other strong, alpha dog. A nice, confident male like the Border Collie in the photo with him. They help him feel comfortable. Plus, he loves to play with other dogs. He is wonderful at the dog park and loves to run. He's also an excellent hiking partner. :)
Murphy is also pretty independent. He LOVES to play with toys and has no trouble keeping himself occupied. Playful. Quiet. House trained. Loyal.
Murphy also needs a secure home with a YARD where he can come and go as he pleases. This is critical in the early weeks as he can be hard to catch. :) He's a fast little guy!
Murphy weighs about eleven pounds, and is about three years old. Excellent sleeping in a crate at night, though he's also a great snugglier. Once he gets used to you, he loves to burrow down under the covers next to you. He's neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his shots. Just a lovely boy who will make your heart happy.
Not sure you're ready to commit? How about fostering?? You supply the love. We supply everything else. We're sure that if you give him a try, you won't regret it!
