Dina the LoveBug's Story...
4 year old female black and tan Yorkie mix. She weighs about 8 pounds. She's sweet & friendly to everyone she's met! =) Dina is spayed, up-to-date on her shots, and will get her microchip Tuesday. She's very underweight, was covered in ticks, her hair was incredibly long and matted, and she was very depressed and sad, as she's just recently out of the local shelter. She's had a bath, been trimmed of her mats, has been treated for the ticks, is eating better food (gaining weight), and feels much better. =) She'll be a beautiful girl when she's gained some weight. If you are interested in meeting or adopting this LoveBug, please complete and submit an Adoption Application at www.AdorableDogRescue.org. She has no health or behavior issues, so she'll be adopted quickly. Please submit your application as soon as possible. We cannot wait to find her a wonderful furever home!

Dina, now Miss Elite, is adopted on December 7, 2015 to Michelle and Greg H and family on Dec 71.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dina the LoveBug, a Phoenix Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Silky Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Silky Terrier for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Silky Terrier dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Silky Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Silky Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
