DUKE's Story...
Hi, my name is Duke and I'm a 1 year old Lab/Mountain Cur mix. I'm such a sweet boy!! I was initially an outside dog thru no fault of my own but I have transitioned into an inside dog quite well. I do like to roam, so a home with a fenced yard would be best for me. I'm crate and housetrained. I get along great with other dogs and I absolutely love children!! I'm looking for my forever home and will make a great companion to your family. I'm neutered, microchipped and up to date on my shots. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DUKE, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
