My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These wee ones are a mere 5 weeks old 11/2/15 so they will not be ready for travel until 12/14/15. There are 5 girls and 2 boys. The first two photos listed are of the boys and the last two are of two of the girls. These little guys were fortunate enough to be born outside of the shelter environment and they are still with their mom in a wonderful foster home in Memphis, Tn. Once they are of age to travel they will be united with their new families via transport. They will have had two rounds of vaccinations, they will be microchipped and dewormed. The adoption fee of 450.00 includes their transport and we are now accepting applications on them even though they cannot travel for a few weeks. For an adoption application on these little guys please email baversa1@gmail.com.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
