Frannie's Story...
"Who's the loving and personable pooch who will bring you joy, you ask? It's me, FRANNIE. I'm a five-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix who is adorable, cuddly, and mild-mannered, so I get along nicely with everybody. I was brought to the shelter with another dog, so I'd probably appreciate having a dog buddy in my new home. I'm sure I'll be happy either way. I've got nothing but love in my heart, so I know that I can make you feel better. I know that I'll be a wonderful family pet. I've already been house trained, and I have excellent manners. Won't you please come visit me? I'm at the El Cajon Animal Shelter, and I'd love to get to know you better out in the nice play yard that they have here. I'm a sweet and wonderful girl, so please give me a chance to show you. See you soon! Love, Frannie" Kennel #9

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frannie, a El Cajon Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
