Fozzie's Story...
"Hi, friends! My name is FOZZIE, and I'm a good-natured little fellow that you've simply got to see for yourself. When you look into my adorable face, you'll swear that there's a person in there. I have warm and loving caramel-colored eyes, and the cutest little legs you've ever seen. I'm about five years old, and I'm a Silky Terrier/ Miniature Poodle mix. I like everybody, and I'd be an excellent family pet. I get along great with other dogs, too. I'm a respectful fellow who has good manners, and I can sit on command. I've already been house trained, too. I like to go for walks, and I love to hang out with people. I came to the shelter with another dog, so I'd probably do well in a home where I have a doggie friend. As long as you love and cherish me, I'll be the happiest dog on Earth. Won't you please come visit me? I'm waiting here for you at the El Cajon Animal Shelter, and I'd really love to have a kind person take me home as soon as possible. I hope to see you soon. Love, Fozzie" Kennel #8

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fozzie, a El Cajon Silky Terrier/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Silky Terrier/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Silky Terrier/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Silky Terrier/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Silky Terrier/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
