Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This happy and silly German shepherd is Thunder, a 2 year old boy that would love to meet you and win you over with his charm and boyish good looks. Thunder came to us from our Newark facility after he was picked up as a stray and no one ever came looking for him. How can that be you might ask? We don't know either, but we're happy to have this large goofball that loves life and everyone in it. Thunder was quite thin and sickly when he arrived and was either out on the streets for quite a while or was terribly neglected. After lots of good medical care and good meals, Thunder is looking and feeling great these days. He has a typical shepherd-type personality and is fun loving, playful, and will whine for attention and give you a grab or two on your arm if you go to leave him too soon. He will need some training for that but he is otherwise very well behaved. He is strong but Thunder walks well on a leash and is very mannerly with sitting and taking treats. He loves to run and play in our exercise yard and would love a home with a nice yard to frolic in. Thunder gets along fine with most dogs and would do best in a home with children over 10 simply because he is a bit mouthy while playing. Thunder is hoping that you'll come in and meet him soon, and whisk him away to the home of his dreams! File#25548 9/24/15
