My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JUNIOR is total love in a perfect little package. JUNIOR is gentle with humans and LOVES other dogs. His eyes light up and his tail wags 90 miles an hour every time he sees another doggy friend. His friendly, but not obnoxious, nature will make him an easy addition for a home with other dogs. He lives with a senior dog and a high energy 1 year old dog in his foster home and he gets along with both of them flawlessly. Though he has a blast playing, he adores cuddling on the couch. He is happy to snuggle for hours on end. JUNIOR is totally crate trained and is catching on to house training very quickly. He is 9 months old and rides in the car like a pro. JUNIOR is timid at first, but is still sweet nonetheless. If someone raises their voice or makes loud noises, he will cower. However, he is getting more confident each and every day. His foster family is showering him with the love he deserves and showing him that no human is going to hit or hurt him. This handsome boy came to us emaciated but is gaining weight rapidly now that he is in a loving foster home. JUNIOR is kind to the core and is ready to make his forever family fall in love the way his Blues City family has. He will be a devoted, endlessly loving companion for life!

JUNIOR is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
His $450 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and transport to the Midwest.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
