My story

Without even knowing it, Gertie had captured many hearts for weeks. She was very scared and living on the streets alone. When she was finally able to be captured, she couldn't believe that anyone would be kind to her. She expected something terrible to come her way. Instead, she found love, hugs, and tenderness in her foster home. Gertie has positively blossomed since arriving in rescue. The once terrified girl now approaches people at adoption events and requests cuddles. We are more than happy to oblige and can't wait to find this deserving girl the perfect home! Gertie is only about 18 months old and 13 pounds. Her adoption fee is $250 and an application can be completed at www.onmywayhomerescue.com
